Harri Jones has claimed the Australian F3 title

Queensland based racer Harri Jones has secured the Australian Formula 3 title in the final round at Tailem Bend.

Holding a 7-point margin over rival Cameron Shields heading into the final round, two race wins in the opening two races at The Bend Motorsport Park was enough for the 19-year-old to secure the title.

“I’m so happy for the entire team that all of our hard work paid off! It was an exceptional season, a steep learning curve and I just can’t believe that we’ve done it!!” said an ecstatic Jones.
